More clinics than you can shake a stick at!
We had more great clinics than we had space, and with registrations being strong, we were able to negotiate an additional full size clinic room at the hotel. Existing clinics in the smaller Morton room are being moved to the larger Getz room, next to Bob’s Photos. And more clinics are now added to the schedule.
Clinic updates include:
Stephen Funaro of Funaro and Carmerlengo will be talking about the P&LE P-7 Heavy Duty Flatcars. He will covert the design of the prototype, and the rapid prototype masters that led to creation of a new resin freight car kit. This clinic will be available on Friday. And, F&C will have resin kits for sale in the vendor room this year.
Steve Hile, tank car guru, will be presenting on the Warren Tank Car fleet. As usual, he will cover prototype features and share his latest modeling of these tank cars.
Rich Ramirez will present on the town of Rockville, MN. He will share 20 years of effort modeling this town on his home layout.
Eric Hansmann will be presenting on the B&O Allegheny Yard Branch. This is an action packed 6 mile long branch line just waiting to be modeled.
Blaine Hadfield, of Arrowhead Models, will be presenting on Rural Grain Elevators. They will be featured by the railroads that served them.
Thank you to these presenters for being available this close to the event, and thank you to all of the 45+ presenters who are hard at work finalizing their presentations. It’s going to be an action packed 3 days of everything model railroading.
The updated schedule is available on the Schedule page and also directly at this link: https://www.rpmconference.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/10/2019-RPMconferenceSchedule-draft-1.pdf
As a reminder, the Registration Table will open at 9:00 AM on Thursday, October 24, outside the ballroom.
On Friday and Saturday it will open at 8:30 AM with Seminars beginning at 9:00 AM.
We still offer a one day pass to the clinics and ballrooms for local folks that can’t get off of work during the week. $35 at the door.
See you later this week!
