We’re less than 10 days away from the kick-off of the 24th annual conference!

The final programs are off at the printers. Mini-Kit parts are being completed and packaged. And we’re working on updated signage and final preparations with the hotel. It’s shaping up to be a fantastic event this year.

All last minute schedule changes continue to be updated on the Schedule page. As late as last evening we had one presenter that had to cancel his trip, but we were also able to fill his slot with another presenter who can now make it to the show. So we still have a full program line-up. Any final updates will be provided to attendees at the show.

There are still a handful of tickets available for the Banquet Dinner and the Friend’s of the Freight Car Dinner. On Thursday evening, banquet attendees will retire to the Arcadia theater room to enjoy a multimedia presentation from Walther’s employee and railfan extrodinaire Bob Gallegos, as he presents his program titled “In Search of Obsolescence”. Friday’s Friends dinner will also move to Arcadia, for presentations and a panel discussion of five great guests from prototype research backgrounds, including Hal Miller, editor of Model Railroader, and Teresa Militello from the National Museum of Transportation. We’re limited to the number of seats available in the Arcadia theater, so if you are still thinking of attending either dinner, you can add meal tickets to your cart on the Registration page.

Aside from that, I hope everyone is working on models to bring for display. We plan to hand out extra door prize tickets again for each display model brought (max 10 tickets) so please bring your latest projects to share… finished or not.

I look forward to seeing everyone next week.

RPM Baby!
